Diane and Larry Muentz have for the last twenty six years owned and operated Alexander's Inn as an intimate Victorian Seaside Bed and Breakfast Inn and Restaurant. The Inn offers eight guest rooms all comfortably restored in Victorian style with antiques and details to recreate the elegance of the Victorian era, but with all the twentyfirst century conveniences that enhance modern travel and safety.

Our newly restored cottage, built in 1868, directly across the street from the Inn offers a confortable three room suite, that can sleep up to four, has a master room with king size bed, private marble bath with jacuzzi and a sitting room with color tv/vcr that has a pull out queen size sofabed. A modern kitchen with dish washer, refrigerator with ice machine, gas top cooker, and built in microwave oven, washer & dryer and even its own powder room.

We cater to couples on a romantic getaways, honeymooners, and quiet relaxed quality time for you and your partner. Children over 14 are welcome, however younger children do not mix well with the antiques and quiet ambiance. Home like atmosphere, Victorian style, means our guests live the luxury of breakfast served to their room in the morning and tea with fresh baked treats presented in the parlor each afternoon. First quality antiques make each guest room distinctive. Modern Conveniences include high speed internet connection either ethernet cable or wireless for your laptop computer. State of the art fire detection with full sprinkler system, modern private baths, TV/VCR, in room telephone with data jacks, hair dryers, bathrobes, parking and Cape May beach passes. Each room controls its own baseboard hot water heat and whisper quiet air-conditioning systems.

All guest rooms have private baths, mostly showers, with one antique King size bed. Breakfast is served at 9:00 AM on the Solarium, on the outside verandah or a private romantic breakfast in your room. Afternoon tea is served in the parlor at 4:30 PM, and off street parking is provided. On Sunday, instead of breakfast, an elegant five course Sunday Brunch is served in our dining room. During the summer we loan Cape May City beach tags with a $15 refundable deposit per tag. Bicycle storage available and outside shower and changing room available even after checkout to enjoy your last perfect day at Cape May's beach.
